Giga Dive Coaster (Update 1), Dining & Shopping Upgrades, Park Enhancement Projects
Front Gate Refresh
Work continues on the park’s front gate area. The Guest Relations building has seen the addition of a new shade structure and bollards. It also now sports a new paint scheme.
The area once home to a restroom has been reopened. It now features a seating area.
Stroller and wheelchair rentals now have an indoor home next to El Mercado de la Plaza.
Continued Dining & Shopping Upgrades
Work continues on the outdoor quick serve booth located in front of JB’s Smokehouse BBQ.
The booth has been expanded with the addition of a large meat smoker.
All American Cafe’s refresh is still under way. The kitchen appears to have undergone an extensive remodel, while the serving line reflects the updates seen at JB’s Smokehouse BBQ.
All American Cafe will also feature a refreshed refill station when it reopens.
A new refill station is taking shape next to Aquaman: Power Wave. It looks like registers will be centralized with two refill counters on each end.
E.G. Sugarwater’s has reopened after a refresh. A new refill station setup has debuted. The stand still also features quick snacks.
Near the park’s entrance, El Mercado de la Plaza has reopened after its remodel and expansion.
The shop’s interior has been modernized and expanded, though it still features most of the same merchandise.
Various Construction Projects
Titan’s fresh paint job continues to move forward. Only a handful of segments remain unpainted.
A quick look into the park’s Spain section shows that remaining components from El Diablo have been removed.
Some minor clearing has taken place next to Southern Palace Theatre. This area, closed off from the public for quite some time, was most recently the location of an outdoor haunted house.
El Aserradero Log Flume Upgrades
New El Aserradero logs have arrived at the park from S&S. These refreshed ride units feature a middle back rest split.
2026 Giga Dive Coaster
The first shipment of giga dive coaster components have arrived at Six Flags Over Texas.
The 2026 coaster addition will have brown and tan colored track.

At this stage, nearly every piece of the former La Vibora roller coaster has been moved off-site as the area is prepped for a dive coaster in 2026. Other updates include changes near front gate, a look at Judge Roy Scream’s annual maintenance and the continued paint job transforming Titan.
