New Refresh Stations

New refresh stations for drink refills have begun opening up around the park. This location is next to the exit of Aquaman: Power Wave.

An additional refresh station has popped up near the front of the park, next to Six Flags Universe.

Land Clearing & Refreshes

Star emblems have returned to Texas SkyScreamer’s tower. Every other emblem also features Texas SkyScreamer’s logo.

Land clearing continues next to Southern Palace Theatre. Old haunted house remnants and overgrowth removal is in progress.

Texas Arena now sports a dark gray paint scheme, making the structure stand out less to the main thoroughfare. Rotting trim and ad frames have also been removed.

Giga Dive Coaster

More track and supports have arrived for Six Flags Over Texas’ giga dive coaster, advertised to open during the 2026 season.

One piece of track along the fence teases the 2026 roller coaster addition.

Visible work at the dive coaster’s construction site is now under way with crews and machinery.

Equipment to install the roller coaster’s footers has been staged in the construction area.

Footers will need to be installed several feet into the ground to support the roller coaster.

Prep work is under way so that concrete can be poured for the footers.

Large drills pierce the earth for what will soon be a roller coaster footer.

A more substantial (and nice) construction wall has been put up around the park’s Spain area.

A piece of dive coaster tracked has been placed inside the park teasing the new addition. The track piece is also a great photo opportunity for theme park enthusiasts.

Spain will soon have the tallest roller coaster in Texas, along with the tallest dive coaster constructed to this date.

Additional pieces of giga dive coaster track and supports have arrived at Six Flags Over Texas. Crews are also in the early stages of coaster construction, prepping the parking lot for footers. Other refresh projects continue throughout the park, including minor facelifts to Texas Arena and Texas SkyScreamer. Two more refresh stations have also been opened near the park entrance.

Several refresh projects continue across the park, including the front gate area and All American Cafe. El Mercado de la Plaza and E.G. Sugarwater’s have recently reopened after undergoing renovations. New ride units for El Aserradero, along with the first support and track components for the to-be-named giga dive coaster, have also been delivered to the park.

Aggressive construction projects continue to move forward at Six Flags Over Texas. JB’s Smokehouse BBQ has reopened with a refreshed serving area and refill station, while All American Cafe and other snack stands temporarily close for upgrades. El Diablo has also been dismantled and shipped out of the park. Sections near front gate have reopened with new pavement and pavers.

A record number of enhancement projects are under way at Six Flags Over Texas. This includes structure demolitions, pavement improvements and dining refreshes and remodels. Though Titan has reopened, its paint job continues with a segment of supports still remaining. Sidewinder has also reopened and sports a fresh paint scheme as well.

At this stage, nearly every piece of the former La Vibora roller coaster has been moved off-site as the area is prepped for a dive coaster in 2026. Other updates include changes near front gate, a look at Judge Roy Scream’s annual maintenance and the continued paint job transforming Titan.

Demolition of La Vibora, the park’s former bobsled coaster, continues as nearly all track pieces have been removed. Most of what stands are support columns. El Diablo’s queue line has also begun to come down. Titan’s big paint job transformation is under way as track and support segments receive new coats.
