Tormenta Rampaging Run (Update 12), Mr. Freeze Queue Upgrades, Offseason Park Projects
Star Mall Renovations
Pavers have been installed throughout the park’s main entrance plaza. Additional pavers will be installed towards Silver Star Carousel, including personalized options currently being sold.
A premium experience center and guest relations now exists in the park’s entry plaza. Any remnants of the former Roller Coaster Coffee location have been removed.
Gotham City Signage
Batwing has received a new multi-dimensional sign that illuminates at night.
Catwoman Whip’s entry signage has also been refurbished during the offseason.
Shopping Upgrades
Formerly known as Heroes, Emporium is set to open on Smith Street during spring break. When the park originally opened, this shopping location was known as Emporium.
Casa de Six Flags is also undergoing renovations. An interior refresh is in progress and roll-up doors have been replaced with theme-appropriate wooden doors.
Mr. Freeze Queue Upgrades
Mr. Freeze has undergone theming enhancements, including new entry signage.
The queue leans more heavily into the original concept, Snowy’s Ice Cream Factory.
New signage and small themed elements have been placed throughout the queue route.
The queue’s second level features a projection-mapped Batman cutout for “target practice.”
The queue’s new central focus is a large blaster, currently in “development” by Mr. Freeze, that occasionally fires with fog, lighting, sound and snow effects.
