Oktoberfest

The fall season at Six Flags Over Texas brings on Oktoberfest, taking place on weekends between September 12 and November 2. The park is adorned with themed decorations and photo opportunities, while specialty booths serve up Oktoberfest-inspired food and beverage offerings in Boomtown. Oktoberfest 2025 also features lively music, party games and competitions.

Festival Food & Drink

Located in the park’s Boomtown area, Oktoberfest features a number of German-inspired food and beverage options.

  • Bacon-Wrapped Bratwurst

    • Grilled pork bratwurst wrapped in bacon, topped with sauerkraut and served on a pretzel bun

    Bavarian Pretzel

    • Salted soft pretzel served with beer cheese

    Bratwurst in a Pretzel Roll

    • Grilled pork bratwurst served on a pretzel bun and topped with sauerkraut

    Brauhaus Pretzel

    • Jumbo hand-crafted Bavarian pretzel served with beer cheese

    Chicken Schnitzel on a Stick

    • Fried hand-breaded chicken tenders with lemon wedge and parsley garnish, served on a stick

    Potato Pancake

    • Golden brown potato pancake served with sour cream and chives

  • Black Forest Cake

    • Chocolate cake with cherry filling, topped with whipped cream and maraschino cherries

    Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel

    • Warm pretzel coated in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with vanilla icing

    German Chocolate Cake

    • Triple-layer chocolate cake topped with pecans, caramel, walnuts and coconut icing
