El Aserradero Flume 2 Refurbishment
El Aserradero, seen to the right, has a new coat of paint throughout its trough and final drop.
Though secluded behind construction walls, the log ride’s vibrant new look is eye-catching.
Front Gate Refresh Continuation
Additional shade structures have been constructed near the park’s main entrance.
The structures don’t fully bring relief to the seating areas.
Southern Palace Theatre Renovations
Exterior renovations have moved along substantially on the exterior of Southern Palace Theatre.
The venue’s entrance doors and trim now feature brown and green earth tones, a bold choice.
Walls around exterior flower beds are beginning to receive a “rust red” paint job.
Some surrounding walls are in need of substantial work.
Fountains surrounding the venue are also in the early stages of being refurbished.
Design elements on Southern Palace’s pillars have been accented with gold paint.
Behind the “Southern Palace” font is now black, along with trim towards the top of the building.
2026 Dive Coaster & Spain Additions
Work continues on through the footer phase of 2026’s dive coaster addition.
Footer installation has moved significantly closer towards the park’s main entrance.
Footer work is also under way further into the park behind Conquistador.

New food offerings are also being teased. It is likely that a new restaurant will debut with the 2026 dive coaster and Spain refresh.
