Six Flags Updates Pandemic-Related Offerings to Pass Holders & Members
Six Flags has unveiled updated offerings, upgrades and add-ons to those who continue to keep their memberships active while Six Flags parks encounter limited or ceases in normal operation. Those with season passes also receive extended time to use their existing pass.

Six Flags Over Texas Introduces Hallowfest, New for 2020
Gourd you loins, Six Flags is hosting a frightfully thrilling time at HALLOWFEST this year and we're inviting you to get batty with us. Our haunted experiences are happening every weekend between September 25 and November 1, so mark your calendars (if you dare) for the spookiest season of the year as ghouls take over the park!

Six Flags Over Texas to Reopen June 19
Six Flags Over Texas will reopen June 19 at limited capacity to members and pass holders. On June 22, the park will be open to all other guests. Six Flags Over Texas has implemented a number of policies and safety guidelines to help ensure guests and team members stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Advanced reservations, temperature scans, expanded mobile ordering, virtual queueing and enhanced sanitization measures are just a few of the new policies and safety guidelines coming to Six Flags parks when they reopen to the public.

Early Plans to Reopen Parks, Six Flags Reports Q1 Loss of $84.5M
The new normal at Six Flags Over Texas and other locations in the national amusement park chain will include face masks, temperature checks, reduced attendance, virtual queueing, mobile ordering, cashless transactions, social distancing and constant sanitization.

COVID-19 | Membership Pausing & Upgrades

Aquaman: Power Wave, Year-Round Operation Coming in 2020
Six Flags Over Texas announces Aquaman: Power Wave for the park’s 2020 season. The first of its kind in North America, Aquaman: Power Wave stands at a height of 148 feet, features backwards and forwards launches, and top speeds of 63 miles per hour.

Shipping Information Points to Mack PowerSplash for 2020
Shipping records recently uncovered the details of a delivery heading to Six Flags Over Texas from Mack, a popular amusement ride manufacturer. Upon further investigation, the records state that parts being shipped are labeled for a PowerSplash attraction.

New SPLASH Water Parade Details
Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, announces the first-of-its-kind and coolest event in all of North Texas, the all-new SPLASH Water Parade debuting in July. This unique, immersive parade features larger-than-life parade floats, creatively themed décor, music and festive street entertainment.

New for 2019: Lone Star Revolution Renamed El Diablo
Six Flags Over Texas announced today that the park’s planned Lone Star Revolution ride will be renamed El Diablo. The attraction was originally scheduled to be installed in the park’s Tower section. However, it has now been confirmed that El Diablo will call the park’s Spain section home. We can expect to see this ride opening in Spring of 2019.

Exploring the Park's New Flash Pass System
accesso, the company that operates Six Flags’ Flash Pass system, recently rolled out a brand new Flash Pass watch band to Six Flags Over Texas just before the season ends. Six Flags is no stranger to the watch-style Flash Pass. Six Flags America, Hurricane Harbor Arlington, and more have a previous model of the Flash Pass watch.
