Exploring the Park's New Flash Pass System

accesso, the company that operates Six Flags’ Flash Pass system, recently rolled out a brand new Flash Pass watch band to Six Flags Over Texas just before the season ends. Six Flags is no stranger to the watch-style Flash Pass. Six Flags America, Hurricane Harbor Arlington, and more have a previous model of the Flash Pass watch. Six Flags Over Georgia, however, also unveiled this new Flash Pass watch system earlier this summer and we could expect to see it roll out to other Six Flags parks in the near future.

The accesso Prism is being adopted by various theme parks and water parks around the country.

The brand new watch system, known as the accesso Prism, is actually the same system that Universal Studios uses for their Volcano Bay water park. The device is a huge upgrade to what Six Flags Over Texas formerly used (Qbot) and gives guests a hands-free way to manage their Flash Pass reservations.

What are some cool features of the new system?

  • Guests can reserve their place in line and monitor their return times. This is also known as virtual queuing. The watch makes it incredibly easy to manage your reservations.

  • The watches feature a low power-consuming Bluetooth system that allows the park to give real-time, accurate updates for all attractions as well as push important messages to your device.

  • All actions on the watch are executed via the touch screen. No buttons to worry about. All actions become natural after a few minutes with the device. The toughened screen, HD display, and watch housing keep the device durable and responsive.

  • Want to ride a water ride? No problem. The new Flash Pass watches are waterproof up to 65 feet!

  • Watch vibrations will also notify guests about important reservation changes, ride status updates, and when it is their turn to ride a specific attraction.

We have a full listing of all attractions that are Flash Pass-supported. Click on the button below to see all of these attractions.
