Fright Fest, Fall Events Return Soon to Six Flags Over Texas, Here's What to Expect for 2026
Fright Fest, Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest all begin at Six Flags Over Texas in less than two weeks. Ghoulish Fun Returns to Six Flags Over Texas as Fright Fest, Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest Details Announced
Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® returns to Six Flags Over Texas on select nights Sept. 11 through Nov. 1. The annual signature event offers five haunted mazes, six outdoor scare zones, multiple live shows and Halloween-themed food and beverages to celebrate the fall season. This year’s Fright Fest entertainment lineup includes the debut of “Wake the Dead,” an interactive musical mystery that allows guests to help determine the outcome of a family murder investigation through audience participation.

Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® takes Halloween to the spookiest level as Six Flags Over Texas is transformed into the most haunting and immersive landscape packed with brand-new spine-tingling scare zones, terrifying haunted mazes inspired by iconic horror films, ghoulish characters that push courage to the limit, live entertainment and hair-raising attractions.
Oktoberfest Returns to Six Flags Over Texas With Even More Food Offerings & Live Entertainment
The Oktoberfest Food Festival has returned to Six Flags Over Texas on select dates from September 2 to October 31. Taking place along the park’s Smith Street and Old South area, the festival features a number of German-inspired food and adult beverage options with expanded menus for 2023. This year's event also features new live entertainment, photo opportunities and games, such as cornhole and shuffleboard.
First Look: Summer Nights Spectacular, Pirates of Speelunker Cave & More Reopen
Six Flags Over Texas' Summer Nights Spectacular takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings now through August 12. Guests can enjoy specialty foods, live entertainment, fireworks displays, photo ops and more. Our visit through the park also highlights the reopening of Pirates of Speelunker Cave, Casa Magnetica and other attractions that recently underwent refurbishment.
