ARLINGTON, Texas (Aug. 20, 2026) – Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® returns to Six Flags Over Texas on select nights Sept. 11 through Nov. 1. The annual signature event offers five haunted mazes, six outdoor scare zones, multiple live shows and Halloween-themed food and beverages to celebrate the fall season.
Dare To Be Scared
Included with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass, guests visiting Fright Fest can experience six haunted attractions inspired by immersive nightmares and iconic horror franchises.
The 2026 lineup includes:
NEW! Doc Varnum’s Hybrid Hell Pit – A backwoods-inspired sideshow realm featuring never-before-seen hybrid creatures, mysterious swamp fog and unpredictable encounters around every corner. This premium scare zone experience blends immersive horror, live entertainment and themed offerings in an all-new environment.
The Conjuring Universe – Based on New Line Cinema’s iconic horror franchise, guests will enter the Warrens’ occult museum where cursed artifacts awaken ancient evil. They’ll face Annabelle’s malevolent stare, flee the Nun’s unholy presence and survive the Perron farmhouse’s demonic forces.
The Strangers: No Escape – Guests will embrace the fear within The Strangers: No Escape as they’re terrorized with no mercy and no motive. Inspired by the films The Strangers: Chapters 1 & 2, iconic masked figures lurk in the shadows and engage in the ultimate hunt at Six Flags Over Texas.
SAW: Legacy of Terror – Guests will face the ultimate trial of survival as they plunge into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind and traverse iconic scenes inspired by the SAW films. They’ll try to escape some of John Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions before time runs out.
EverSmile Industries presented by M&M'S® – Guests can step into a retro-futuristic factory tour where perfection comes at a cost.
Terror at the Polynesian Palm presented by SKITTLES® – An abandoned hotel attraction centered around a mysterious island legend with new and enhanced scares.
Six Flags Over Texas
In addition to indoor mazes, themed outdoor scare zones will transform pathways throughout the park into terrifying environments each evening and are included with park admission. The new Día de los Muertos scare zone will also debut this season in the Mexico section of the park while returning zones Outlaw’s Revenge, Forsaken Fairgrounds, The Last Harvest and The Plague wait in the shadows.
New Entertainment to Wake the Dead
This year’s Fright Fest entertainment lineup includes the debut of “Wake the Dead,” an interactive musical mystery that allows guests to help determine the outcome of a family murder investigation through audience participation.
Additional show favorites include:
“The Awakening,” where the gates of darkness break open and terrifying creatures spill out into the shadows of the night.
“The Spectral Sisters,” a group of supernatural voices blending in perfect harmony.
“Ballet de Folklórico: Día de los Muertos,” a mesmerizing ballet of beauty and joy.
Family-Friendly Tricks and Treats

It’s all fun and no fear at Tricks and Treats, a Halloween celebration designed for children and guests seeking a not-so-scary experience. On select days from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1., families can enjoy a multitude of activities designed for interaction, playful moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

Halloween Food and Beverage Offerings
The 2026 Fright Fest menu features specialty desserts, savory items, cocktails and mocktails available throughout the park. Featured offerings include the Bride of Frankenstein Ice Cream, Poison Apple Funnel Cake, Cereal Killer Milkshake, Demon Dog, Flaming Elote Fries and Boo! Berry Wings.
Specialty cocktails, themed mocktails and returning blood bag beverages will also be available during the event.

Oktoberfest presented by Cash App returns to Six Flags Over Texas with German-inspired food, beverages, music and interactive games. Featured activities include Last Stein Standing and the daily Tap Zee Keg ceremony.Guests can also enjoy performances by the Guttentag Players and the Über Oompah Band, along with seasonal menu items including Bavarian Pretzels, Bratwurst, Chicken Schnitzel on a Stick, Potato Pancakes, Black Forest Cake Trifle and Apfel Strudel.
