New Looney Tunes Mall Facade
Blue tarp has been placed around the new Looney Tunes Mall facade construction.
The retail location remains open as construction work continues.
Minor details are beginning to emerge on the facade work.
New faux brick work and window elements have begun to appear.
Faux stone work can also be seen at the base of the facade wall.
Pirates of Speelunker Cave
A teaser sign has been placed on the Pirates of Speelunker Cave station structure.
Construction walls are coming down, which shows off our first look at the cave entrance, along with refurbished ride boats.
The ride’s entrance now features a map, which resembles the theme of Pirates of the Deep Sea at Fiesta Texas.
The ride’s impressive entrance portal now features signage and additional detailed work on the cave wall and pirate ship.
In-Park Services Updates, Various Other Projects
The newly-refreshed Guest Services booth outside of front gate gives visitors a chance to purchase tickets in-person if needed.
Flash Pass has moved closer to the park’s main entrance, taking over the building that once housed the Member Services.
Guest Relations can now be found near the entrance to Looney Tunes Mall.
New signage has been placed on the former Metropolis Snacks stand advertising the upcoming debut of Auntie Anne’s.
The clearing of several trees and other plants has taken place around the track layout of Chaparral Antique Cars.
Aquaman: Power Wave
New activity is happening around Aquaman: Power Wave’s entrance area. It appears that the queue segments are beginning to take shape.
The redesigned segment of the ride layout, for the purpose of adding a turntable, is coming together as well.
New concrete is being poured to hold the attraction’s water needs. “Water gates” have also been added near the track, likely to allow water to rush in for the final splash.
