Shock Wave Celebrates 50 Million Riders, New Ride Construction, Spring Break

Six Flags Over Texas celebrates 50 million riders on the classic Shock Wave roller coaster with a ceremony featuring a ribbon cutting, giveaways and special behind-the-scenes tour. We also show off the quick construction progress taking place for the return of Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters and the new Sylvester & Tweety Pounce and Bounce. Six Flags Over Texas is also celebrating Spring Break through March 17 with live entertainment, decor and specialty food items.

Oktoberfest Returns to Six Flags Over Texas With Even More Food Offerings & Live Entertainment

The Oktoberfest Food Festival has returned to Six Flags Over Texas on select dates from September 2 to October 31. Taking place along the park’s Smith Street and Old South area, the festival features a number of German-inspired food and adult beverage options with expanded menus for 2023. This year's event also features new live entertainment, photo opportunities and games, such as cornhole and shuffleboard.

Fright Fest Prep Begins at Six Flags Over Texas | Several New Scare Zones, Haunted Houses & Shows

Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is coming up quick and the park is hard at work preparing for the Halloween event. This year's Fright Fest features several new entertainment offerings, including H.H. Holme's Freak Show in Southern Palace Theatre. Multiple new scare zones and haunted houses, such as Coven Cove, Lago de Miedo and Wrong Turn on Canal Street, will also make their debut in 2023.

New Holiday in the Park Updates, Veterans Weekend Celebration
