Important Fright Fest Updates

Unfortunately, it appears that Six Flags Over Texas is shutting down their Asylum haunted house located in the Tower section of the park. It is no longer being advertised as an attraction for Fright Fest. This may be stemming off of the controversial protest that took place recently at Knott's Berry Farm over their new haunted house that is themed around a mental institution. It is quite unfortunate as this haunted house has been around for many seasons. Fortunately, the park still provides four other haunted houses as well as seven scare zones and live shows. We will keep you updated if anything changes with this situation.

In an effort to push the "adult" theme of Fright Fest into the evening hours, Six Flags Over Texas closes down many of their more mild attractions during the evening. These attractions include: Boot Scootin', Bugs Bunny Boomtown, Batwing, Cloud Bouncer, Silver Star Carousel, and El Aserradero.

For those who have Season Dining Passes, Six Flags Over Texas has now extended dinner until 8pm to accommodate for later park hours during Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park.

We will keep you updated if any new in-park changes arise during Fright Fest.
